A bride is a woman who is about to be married or who has been recently married. The word is often utilized to refer to the feminine partner in a marriage, but in some cases it could be used for the groom.

The word “bride” is derived from the Old English bryd, which means “a boy or girl who has been promised or promised to be hitched. ” It is actually related to Western world Frisian breid, Dutch bruid, A language like german Braut, Swedish and Danish brud.

Many experts have considered a sign of fecundity and guaranteed that the couple will be looked after financially after the marriage. It might be a sign of respect and loyalty between the families.
